The November meeting was held in the afternoon with nine people attending it was led by Anne Milne and Sheila Shepherd .The meeting opened with everyone singing MP45 Father I place into your hands followed bt Sheila reading Colossians 3 v 12-17 Anne introduced Mark Morgan who gave an indepth talk and presention on the work Stella's Voice do in Moldova. In 1996 they visited Moldova for the first time,we were appalled at the desperate situation the children in orphanages were living in. One orphanage director told us that sixteen children had already frozen to death that wintwer. It was only December. Stella was a disabled orphan who dispite her condition had a wonderful spirit she would often help hand out gifts to the children . Then one day she was gone .Two years passed until we found out she had been trafficked used until she was dead. We decided that we would do everything in our power to give aged-out orphans a safe place to go. Anne thanked everyone for coming along to our first ever afternoon meeting before everyone enjoyed a fly cup. The meeting closed by singing MP153 "Make me a channel of your peace"
8 people traveled down to take part in the Big Sing in Dunfermline Abbey for 2pm . The Big Sing was a celebration of Guild Week and it is hoped you are as excited as we are about this annual opportunity to shout about the Guild.
